It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Given the realities of inflation, I’ve had to update my Rates page. My new rate for 2022 is $40 per 5K words for copyediting or a copyediting/developmental package. However, I now offer 10% copyediting discounts to clients who find me through Kboards or who are members of the Wide for the Win group on Facebook, a group I highly recommend for indie authors who want to take their books wide and make it work financially for them. I try to read the group posts as much as I can, myself! (You’ll find the latest info there on best practices to use Ingram for print, or for uploading work to newer “fiction app” platforms like Radish.)

Proofreading is now back to costing .004 a word, as well. (Just $20 per 5K words!)
